Floating shelves offer a versatile and stylish way to provide extra storage space in your kitchen, laundry room, bathroom or any other room in your home!

Calling all DIYers and woodworkers! Are you able to make the wood shelves yourself but not sure how to hang them so that the mounting mechanism is hidden? Let us provide the metal! Our metal floating shelf brackets are made from high quality, heavy duty steel. Not the lightweight stuff you will find in department stores.

Do you have a space requiring a size not offered in our listing? No problem! We offer custom sizes to allow you to fit your shelves anywhere you need.

• 1 1/2" flat bar that sits flush against wall
• 1/2" round bar rods that stick out from the flat bar
• Brackets are equipped with predrilled holes every 2" to fit 1/4" lag screws (this allows easy mounting to wall
studs)
• Holes are countersunk to provide a flush professional look
• Quantity of 1 includes 1 bracket

How to Order:
1) Determine the length of your required shelf. We suggest leaving a 1" gap on each end of the bracket to ensure the metal is not seen behind the wood. For example, if your wood is going to be 48" long, select a bracket that is 46" in length.

2) Determine your rod length. We suggest that the round bar rods that protrude into the wood be just over half of the depth of your shelf. For example, if your shelf is going to be 8" deep from the wall, we suggest a rod length of 5-6".

3) Ensure the thickness of your wood is more than 1 1/2". The flat bar used for this bracket is 1 1/2" wide, so your wood should be thicker than this to ensure it is not seen behind the wood shelf. If your shelves are going to be 1 1/2" or smaller, we have a thinner bracket. If your shelves are going to be thicker than 3", we have a larger bracket. Contact us for details.

**1/4" lag screws not included***
**Our brackets have not been professionally tested for weight limits. Ensure you are fastening the brackets securely to at least 2 wood studs using size 10, 1/4" lag screws. Shelves should be glued to metal bracket rods to reduce the chance of the shifting and sliding. Consult a professional contractor if you are unsure how to safely install.
